July - December 2013

I traveled to London in July and I took a lot of fun photos. I also spent a lot of my time in Photoshop again and I continued to experiment with self-portraits.
I took a lot of sunset photos and landscape photos in August. Also, I started to study media and communication at school, and I learned a lot! I still learn things everyday. One of the things I've learned at school, is that the knowledge I get from for example film-history class will help my photography. Everything I learn is important even if it's not about photography.
In the month of September we were studying photography at school. I took a lot of photos that month and we had a lot of different tasks to do. The weather was on my side and I took a lot of light photos focusing on details.
I was in a "black and white" mood in October. I took some portraits and some architecture photos.
I started to make "quotes in a photo" photo's in November, and It's one of my favourite thing to do in Photoshop. I remember I had to look it up on google all the time, because I always forgot how to do it. However, now it takes me less than a minute to do it and I know the routine well!
To be honest, I didn't take a lot of photos in December. I wasn't feeling well and I just wanted to take a break and relax.

January - June 2013

I didn't take a lot of nature photos in January. The weather was bad, I had a lot of school projects and I didn't have a lot of inspiration. I took a lot of inside photos that month, and I called it Inside Beauty.
In February I took a lot of photos outside! I remember I used my Leica m8 with the 75mm a lot, but I also used my Canon 600D as well. I took a lot of landscape photos and quote photos.
I used a lot of time in Photoshop in March and I experimented a lot that month. I was also on a photo workshop and I photographed a dancer for the first time! It was hard, but really fun! I took a lot of art photos in the month of March.
I focused a lot on details and little things in April. I continued with the theme Inside Beauty and I tried to find things at home to photograph. I tried out a lot of different things!
The weather was much better in May. I focused a lot on colour tones this month. I started to really like warm toned photos! However, I also edited a lot of photos  grey and foggy.
In the month of June, I took some narrative self-portraits. I remember that my self-timer was broken, so I had to focus on a spot and then I had 10 seconds to run and pose in front of the camera. It was so much fun, and I really want to take more narrative self-portraits in 2014!

Part 2 with July-December 2013 is coming soon!

I took some black and white photos of Silje the other day in the snow! It was very cold outside, so we went home after a while. However, I got some portraits of her!

Why I love Autumn Part 2

☂ Windy days: I don't like it when the wind makes my hair crazy, and when my hair is in my mouth because of my lipstick, but I love cold and fresh days! I actually enjoy being cold. Is it just me?
Warm photos: Autumn is a very cold season. However,  I love sunny and warm photos, because I think  it makes the Autumn colours stand out even more!
Macro and close up photos: I take a lot of details photos every year when Autumn comes. There's so many beautiful details outside! I also love the blurry backgrounds because of the colours.
When the seasons changes: First of all, I love to see the change from Summer to Autumn. I love to see the green leaves change to red and yellow leaves!  However, I love to see the change from Autumn to Winter as well. I think the trees look beautiful with and without the leaves!
Candles:  Getting warmth from candles on a cold, dark night! Drinking some coffee, watching TV and being rapped in a big, fluffy blanket! That's Autumn!

I'm having such a fun time making these kind of blog-posts! Hopefully you like them as well! I'm going to make a part 3, if I find enough reasons I love Autumn! Do you love Autumn?

End Of The Month: It was September

September was a good month for me. At school, we studied photography for three weeks. We had a lot of different tasks, themes and we had a really tight deadline. However, It was fun to work under pressure, because it made me "give it all". School starts again next week, and we are going to make music videos in three weeks. It's going to be interesting!

Why I love Autumn Part 1

 1. The flowers: Watch them go to sleep before the Winter arrives, and then see them wake up again in Spring.
 2. See how the colours changes from bright colours to yellow, brown and red colours.
 3. Dark and cosy nights with blankets, candles and a cup of tea.
4. More creative photography. For some reason I always get so inspired and motivated in this season. I'm more creative and artsy.

Do you want to see part two and three?
